Notes from Dr. Siegel: Teenage female patient disliked her profile: a hump and droopy tip. On front view, our patient had a crooked/deviated nose pointing to her left side, and a bulbous tip. She wanted a natural and subtle refinement: to add a slight slope to her bridge, decrease the tip bulbosity, and straighten her nose, for better appearance and better breathing. An ultrasonic rhinoplasty was performed to reshape her bony hump and straighten her nose. The preservation technique helped reshape the nasal tip and give her a natural, harmonious, more-feminine appearance.
