Changing the Rotation of the Nose
The rotation of a persons nose also affects how long their nose appears. The rotation of the nose could also be described as the position of which the nose points. In other words, rotation describes how “up-turned” or “down-turned” the person’s nose is.
The examples below use Red Arrows to show examples of noses with both high and low rotation. The girl to the left has a nose that is very “up-turned”, meaning that her nose has “high rotation”. The girl to the right is the opposite. Her nose is more “down-turned”, and would be described at having “less rotation”.

Depending on the unique rotation of your nose, procedures can be done to give your nose more and less rotation. Improving the rotation can help patients achieve proper balance to the appearance of their nose.
